FantasyTV is an Android TV app. It has no accounts and no server of its own. This page explains what it keeps and who it talks to.
What FantasyTV keeps, and where
- Your settings, IPTV login (Xtream or Dispatcharr), Sleeper username, ESPN league IDs and, for private ESPN leagues, your ESPN cookies: stored only on your TV.
- If you connect Yahoo: Yahoo's sign-in token, stored only on your TV, used only to read your fantasy leagues.
- Optional score-bug samples (Settings → Developer): small pictures of the bottom of the broadcast, kept on your TV (the newest 300) to improve clock reading. They never leave the TV unless you copy them off yourself.
Who FantasyTV talks to
- Your IPTV provider or Dispatcharr server, to play channels and read the guide.
- ESPN, for live scores and play-by-play, and your ESPN leagues if you add them.
- Sleeper, for your leagues, rosters and points.
- Yahoo, only if you connect it.
- GitHub, to check for and download updates.
This website
fantasytvapp.com is a static site with no sign-in, no analytics and no cookies. When you scan your TV's QR code, the TV's address on your home Wi-Fi is part of the link after the #, which browsers don't send to websites: your phone keeps it to open your remote next time. You can remove it with "Forget saved TVs" on the remote page. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Your phone and your TV
The phone remote talks to the TV directly over your home Wi-Fi. Settings you save from the phone go to the TV and nowhere else.
